Oh Man, where should I start!? You guys are very thorough with the information presented in the courses. I had somewhat of a basic understanding of Tequila, but once I started the 1st course I was completely hooked. I had to sign up for the second course. The visual material and the PDF files are very helpful for me. I’m a visual learner and I know I would have learned as well as I did without it. As soon as I started the courses I told my colleagues who I work and socialize with. All in the restaurant business. I had a good many of them start the courses. It’s important for me to really understand the products I sell, Tequila, in my restaurant. It’s something I am proud to know, because it’s part of my culture and I can share it all with my customers. It’s all thanks to these courses that I continue to be addicted to inform myself of everything Tequila related!

The modern tequila industry has diversified due to its international popularity. This is great, but it also makes it difficult to know what is traditional and true tequila. By studying ITA's courses, we can learn what true tequila is and how it is made. This is possible because ITA is an independent academy, not affiliated with any company or organization. It is run solely according to the passion for tequila, without being beholden to any particular company or brand. What makes ITA's courses different from other information sites and materials is that they reflect the voices of many active producers. What sets ITA apart from other information sites and educational materials is that it reflects the voices of many active producers, who are the undisputed maestros of the tequila tradition. The modern internet is full of information and educational materials, many of which are wrong, outdated, or exist for someone else's benefit. It is very difficult to pick out only the right information from among them. ITA's course is a neutral and accurate compass for navigating the world of tequila.

Having studied tequila over the past several years and visiting the town of Tequila, Jalisco my passion for the distilled spirit grew. I wanted to really delve into the world of tequila and was literally jumping out of my chair when a coworker told me about The International Tequila Academy. Later that day I signed up! I have such a desire to expand my knowledge of tequila, its history, culture and the Mexican people who have just as much a passion for it. The programs gave me the chance to achieve my goals. I found the first course a nice refresher; it confirmed most of what I knew about tequila. The second course offers a lot more and is quite in depth. Each program is extremely informative, educational and professional. The interactive illustrations and videos are outstanding. They're fun, colorful, lots of detail and the music is nice. The outline for each program is easy to follow as is the course material. You can tell that Adam and Andi have spent an enormous amount of time, and effort to put together such a comprehensive course. I really like at the end of each section there is a quiz to test your knowledge on what you just learned. I've never gone through programs like these where I would spend the whole day on the computer wanting to learn more about a topic. I had the pleasure of meeting Adam and Andi at their school in Playa Del Carmen a few years ago and attended their tequila tasting class. It's an experience I still talk to friends and family about and recommend to those going to Playa to definitely attend a tasting. Whether you want to be a tequila sommelier, a bartender wishing to gain more knowledge of the spirit, for your own personal gain or perhaps a gift to a loved one or friend I highly recommend you enroll in a program at The International Tequila Academy. You'll be amazed!

The level 1 course is a great entrance in the tequila world. Very friendly and easy-going course, it clarified the various of the spirit, the manufacture progress and the legal system. It also has tasting advise and tips for the glasses. If you want to deal more professional with the Tequila it is a great beginning.

I was so pleased (and lucky) to be exploring agave based spirits when I came upon the team and coursework of the International Tequila Academy; the coursework was just what I was looking for and as an added bonus Adam and the staff at the ITA have become valued industry connections. I am an alcohol industry professional; one that has ownership in a winery and vineyards...” The modern demands of our industry dictate that we, as professionals, perpetually stay sharp and educated; and I often find myself looking at the other sectors (Wine, Spirits, Beer) for learning opportunities.

The ITA Level 1 Certificate in Tequila was a pleasure to take online. Their online platform was intuitive and fun to use. The course materials were thorough, yet easy to digest (as a level 1 course ought to be). Adam has been extremely helpful and clearly has a passion for the category of Agave spirits. Being in the spirits industry myself, I've undergone a number of similar courses, and I'm glad to finally see an Agave-centric course of this caliber. I will certainly be signing up for future courses.

The Course was great, rather quick to get through, informative, and fun! I am more than happy with your program for I have finished the course with more knowledge on Tequila and Mezcal than I started with.Along with the great amount of information on how Tequila is made, marketed, branded, and sold I now have a better understanding on it's Origin and how it came into fruition. The Course taught me things that most people would not talk about like: proper glassware, proper drinking techniques that enhance flavor profiles, and the styles of Tequila based on their aging process and distillation. What I liked most about this course was the interactive pictures and videos posted up on each chapter. You can tell the creators of this Program are passionate about Tequila and it's Ancestry. Well done.

A exellent course for the tequila lover, everything you need for an introduction to the spirit and the world of tequila. Easy to follow lessons and material even if english is not your main language. I took the course because I love tequila and wanted to learn more about it and to be able to pass that passion on to others. Now I feel equipped with the knowledge I got from the course and could not have learnt all of it without it.

Rudy Tryon - South Africa

Founder of The Tequila Collective (Tequila Warehousing, Distribution, Import)

The course was a valuable learning experience for me, the course exceeded my expectations! I was not sure how much more I could learn from a level 1 course, but boy I was wrong! The attention to detail and the passion that has been put into this course is exceptional! I feel a lot more confident after completing this course and I highly recommend it for everyone that is interested in tequila!! The agave is such important part of Mexico's history, culture and its people. Really look forward to level 2, well done to Adam and his team, salud!!!

The International Tequila Academy is the best school you can attend to learn about Tequila. The material is very well written and it goes into great depth on the history of Tequila and equips you with everything you would ever need to know about Tequila. The classes are enjoyable to take and you can go at your own pace. I would highly recommend this to anyone who works in the Tequila industry or just has a passion for Tequila.

The International Tequila Academy has been a great resource for diving into all aspects of Tequila. The courses are presented with a plethora of information with reading material and videos, as well as helpful study guides, flashcards, and quizzes. Would recommend to anyone looking to further their education in what is Tequila.

Brilliant... International Tequila Academy created a fantastic program. The design of the course is laid out to ensure accessibility and it flows easily from start to finish. I found the bonus material both fun and challenging enough to evoke even more of my tequila curiosity (as if I needed more ... lol).

I came to ITA with very limited knowledge of Tequila and left Level 2 with the confidence that I can carry a conversation with even the most knowledgeable individuals. The instruction style was fun and interactive while the interviews with the industry veterans were engaging and informative. I'd recommend this course to anyone looking to expand their knowledge of Tequila and fall in love with this incredible spirit! I took the course in hopes of becoming more knowledgeable about Tequila. I started a beverage brand that was designed to mix with the spirit and I wanted to make sure that I had enough knowledge to carry a conversation with anyone in the industry. I have yet to be down to Mexico to test this but I feel extremely confident in my Tequila knowledge while also knowing I have so much left to learn. I do know that all of my friends come to me with any Tequila or Agave related questions and I love answering them!
