Chris is a tequila enthusiast whose appreciation for agave spirits spans more than three decades. What began as personal curiosity evolved into a deeper pursuit of understanding the traditions, production methods, and regional characteristics that define authentic tequila.

Over the years, Chris has traveled to Mexico to experience tequila in its cultural home, visiting distilleries and learning directly from producers about agave cultivation, traditional production techniques, and the influence of terroir on the spirit.

To formalize this long-standing passion, Christ began his formal study with the International Tequila Academy, with the ultimate goal of achieving the Level 3 Tequila Sommelier certification. Through this structured training, and mentoring he continues to expand his knowledge of Blue Weber agave, the production processes, regulatory standards, and sensory evaluation.

Chris’s perspective centers on authenticity, transparency, the regulatory space and but most importantly respect for tequila’s heritage, while sharing insights that help others better understand and appreciate the complexity and craftsmanship behind the spirit.
