Deep well water – it brings certain minerals to the taste profile of the tequila.
Distilled water for dilution – to bring the alcohol by volume down from 55% to its bottling strength distilled water is used. It is to make sure that the water does not add extra flavors to the tequila and so the profile change is as subtle as possible.
Cellulose Filters – it is primarily used to filter out solid particles during the distillation.
“Screen” filters – applied right before bottling to create different flavor profiles.
Chill filtration – The product is chill filtered at a very low 0-2 Celsius temperature.
