I was Born in Atlanta, GA. Both of my parents are from Los Altos de Jalisco. I spent most of my childhood & teenage summers in Mexico. My father opened up his first Mexican restaurant in 1986 and I have been helping him since the age of 13. In 2010 moved to Charleston SC to help run his Resturant. 2021 I opened my first restaurant, Viva Tacos & Tequila.

I became obsessed with rediscovering my roots and educating myself in food and drinks. I started my journey with the ITA, and have been certified up to level 3. Opening up my second restaurant Añejo this summer. My goal is to start up a small artisanal agave spirit “palenque” in San Jose De La Paz Jalisco.
