Bethne Stewart is a bartender and liquor specialist with over a decade in the industry serving up craft cocktails and wine at Tarbell’s Tavern in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduating from Arizona State in 2016 with her Creative Writing degree, she shifted her focus to the wide world of spirits, studying wine, beer, sake, whiskey, and tequila. She enjoys spreading her love of spirits with others through guided tastings, educational seminars, and training classes both at work and around her city. Bethne earned her Tequila Sommelier Certificate in September of 2023, and
plans on continuing her education well into the future.

When she isn’t working on new cocktails or studying a hefty liquor textbook, Bethne can often be found tasting around Phoenix or playing video games at home with her pets, Artemis and
Apollo.
